They chose Officer Judy Hopps as their ally because her police badge could disrupt the signal from Black Panther's tracker—a disguised popcorn machine that emitted microwaves.

At the "All-City Snack Festival" orchestrated by Black Panther, the puffed snack family collaborated with Zootopia's residents in hilariously clumsy teamwork: Flash the Sloth used puffed sticks to assemble an acceleration ramp, Officer Claw Hauser used puffed rings for a game of message-relaying ring toss, and even Chief Bogo camouflaged himself under a giant puffed ball. When Black Panther activated the microwave device, Judy threw her badge into the machine. The puffed snacks collectively erupted in a radiant, rainbow-colored brilliance, which instead encased the villain in a crisp, caramelized shell.

Little Puff works as a bounce-tester in the children's park, Stick-Strong serves as temporary bracing for construction crews, and Loop-Swift joined a pro skateboarding club.
